Booth’s Computer Services (BCS) was founded by Peter Booth in 1988, following years of hands-on software development for Western Australia’s Credit Union sector. Even in the early 1980s, Peter was pioneering innovative systems—single-handedly developing a full online agency platform that enabled members to withdraw and deposit funds, order chequebooks, and print statements from chemists and newsagencies. He also built software for the Credit Union settlement house and an early telephone banking system.

 

After navigating the politics of a larger organisation, Peter stepped out with a simple goal:

To provide small and medium-sized businesses with honest, reliable software solutions—delivered with integrity.

 

Since then, BCS has offered:

• System management

• Hardware and software support

 

Trusted in the Accounting and Financial Software Space

 

In the 1990s, BCS became a recognised Arrow Accounting (later Arrow Financials) dealer, earning several awards for its high-quality support. Over the decades, the company has worked extensively with accounting platforms.

 

Although BCS initially supported both hardware and software systems, client needs naturally led us into the custom software space—particularly integrations with accounting platforms to automate, streamline, and extend business processes.
